Friends of Jung Ottawa

You are most welcome to join our community of people interested in learning and discussing the work and ideas of Carl Gustav Jung and his spiritual heirs and successors. This is a study and discussion group, focusing on Jungian and post-Jungian ideas. It is not a self-help or therapy group.

FOR FURTHER INFORMATION, please email us at: We check this account regularly and will reply to you as soon as possible. Please do not try to contact us by ‘Leave a Reply’ at the bottom of a WordPress page. You can also find us on MeetUp!

Our informal planning group plans and organizes our meetings. If you are interested in helping, we would welcome your participation. We are currently seeking help with finances, logistics, contacting presenters, technical assistance at meetings, managing contact lists, and other tasks.

The fall 2017 – winter 2018 season focuses on Transformation of the Self, through a variety of Jungian and post-Jungian themes.

Meetings will take place on Friday evenings once a month, from 6:30 – 8:30 pm, at Unitarian House of Ottawa, 20 Cleary Avenue. Suggested donation $15.

Next meeting is on March 16, 2018. Note the new location.

FOJ member Mike Hurn will lead us in a hands-on workshop on using the I Ching. Jung used the I Ching with patients as one method of using synchronistic principles to access intuitive knowledge. Bring your coins, dice, copies of the I Ching if you have them. This will be a practical introduction.
